The Folk & Blues Project is all about singing traditional American songs and others like them.

Robert Friedman has a vast experience and knowledge
of American roots music & has developed an abiding love of folk music and the blues. Besides his solo performances, he also performs in duo and trio ensembles such as Delta Connection and the Patapsco Delta Boys. His Folk & Blues Project also performs educational activities such as after-school programs and Arts Integration Residencies.

So come out as we pay tribute to America through Country Blues Classics, Traditional, Ragtime and American Songs– Then after the show, marvel at the night sky with Fireworks @ 9:30pm!

An accomplished singer-songwriter and guitarist Nelson Emokpae originally hails from Nigeria, Africa. He has drawn on his multi cultural background and experiences to tell his story in music and lyrics. His skillful blend of soul, reggae and blues coupled with infectious hook lines and tremendous vocal abilities transport the listener into the musical story being told.
